After-School Program Caregiver - Make a Difference in Kids' Lives Every Day!

What You'll Do:
As an After-School Caregiver, you'll be a trusted presence in children's daily routines, helping them transition from school to home with care and creativity. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Keeping kids safe and happy - Supervise children throughout the program, ensuring their safety and well-being in all activities
- Supporting academic growth - Assist with homework and provide patient, encouraging guidance
- Leading fun, enriching activities - Plan and facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts, sports, and creative projects that spark imagination and build social skills
- Fostering a positive community - Create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to cooperate with peers
- Partnering with parents - Maintain open communication about each child's progress, achievements, and any concerns
- Managing daily routines - Oversee snack time with attention to hygiene and dietary needs
- Being a positive role model - Enforce program policies fairly while supporting children's social-emotional development
- Maintaining our space - Keep activity areas clean, organized, and welcoming
- Collaborating with your team - Work alongside fellow caregivers to ensure seamless program operations
What We're Looking For:
A natural ability to connect with children and create warm, trusting relationships
Strong communication skills with both kids and adults
Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in an active environment
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and have fun
Preferred: Previous experience in childcare, after-school programs, or youth settings (but we'll train the right candidate!)
