Discover Recovery is a 26 bed, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in Long Beach, WA. We believe each person's recovery journey is unique, so your addiction treatment should be too. We focus on tailored plans of evidence-based therapies and holistic experiences to reconnect our clients with their health, peace, and purpose.
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and the aesthetic upkeep of the rooms, public areas, and surroundings. The position requires an individual with integrity and attention to detail.
This position is part-time and temporary to permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notify supervisors on any damage, deficits or disturbances.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Work with Admissions to ensure rooms are ready for new intakes.
- Being able to give First Aid and/or CPR as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience as cleaner or housekeeper preferred.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer orientated and friendly
- Prioritize and time management skills.
- Hold CPR and First Aid Certifications, training can be provided.
