Northeast / East Coast Territory Sales Manager

Location: Remote within the territory
Territory: Maine through Virginia
Travel: 50%
Employment: Full-time

A well-established leader in the building products industry is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow its industrial coatings and resinous flooring business throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

This opportunity combines territory development, technical selling, and relationship building with the ability to shape regional sales growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a sales plan that expands existing accounts and wins new business.
• Build strong relationships with industrial customers and channel partners.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coatings and flooring solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Help recruit, develop, and manage regional sales personnel as the business grows.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and customer service teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, budgets, and sales reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience selling industrial, protective, resinous flooring, or OEM coatings.
• A record of territory growth, account development, and winning new customers.
• Strong technical and consultative selling skills.
• Experience managing complex sales and building lasting customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort using CRM systems and managing a remote territory.
• Approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
