Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care and daily living assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional monitoring
- Implement individualized care plans and document client progress accurately
- Administer or assist with medication management per care plan guidelines
- Foster a safe, supportive, and dignified environment for all clients
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in direct care, personal care, or a related healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
- Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must pass background check and any required health screenings
