What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Representative - Medical Device position at Discover International?
We are searching for a highly motivated and hungry Territory Sales Representative who is eager to develop a sales career in the competitive space of medical device sales. You’ll be responsible for contacting and interacting with current and potential customers, identifying their needs, helping to conduct trials in the operating room and engaging with doctors and surgeons to persuade them to utilize the company's products.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in outside B2B sales, and has had proven success in a quota carrying position. You need to be able to take initiative and be creative in getting yourself in front of surgeons and doctors to build strong relationships and trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run a sales territory
- Achieve territory sales goals by increasing sales with existing customers and identifying new customers to grow your pipeline
- Call on Gynecologists, Urologists, and Urogynecologists in both the hospital and office setting
- Develop relationships with Surgeons to become an asset to their team
- Conduct product trials
- Provide after-sales service and support
- Travel as needed – may be up to 40% in assigned territory
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree
- 3 years of successful outside B2B sales experience
- Live within the territory you're supporting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivating, can-do attitude
- Demonstrate willingness to be coached and developed.
