Duties
- Perform routine oil changes and fluid checks on various vehicles, ensuring all services are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire rotations, alignments, and other minor repairs.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and recommend necessary services to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance services and products, demonstrating strong sales skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for vehicle service tasks.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics systems and tools is an asset.
- Experience in tire service, including installation and alignment techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate recommendations to clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus.
