- Lead and motivate the tire sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase tire and automotive service revenue.
- Provide expert advice to customers on tire options, vehicle maintenance, and related automotive services such as alignments, brake repairs, oil changes, and suspension work.
- Manage inventory levels, order stock as needed, and ensure proper display of tires and automotive parts.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics to recommend appropriate tire solutions and other repair services.
- Upsell additional services like auto repairs, wheel alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, and auto body work to maximize customer value.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, process estimates, invoices, and service writing with accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, air brake systems, auto estimating software, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, oil changes, wheel alignments, air brakes, diesel engines, and auto body repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience or service technician background.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Sales acumen with a focus on automobile sales and dealership operations.
