The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while assisting customers with pool & spa products including all parts for motors & pumps. This role includes providing product recommendations, performing basic water testing, maintaining an organized sales floor, operating the point-of-sale system, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys helping customers solve problems.
- Greet customers promptly and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assist customers in selecting pool chemicals, spa supplies, equipment, accessories, and seasonal products.
- Perform basic pool and spa water testing and explain results with appropriate product recommendations.
- Educate customers on proper pool and spa maintenance, safety, and product usage.
- Operate the cash register and accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, price products, and maintain attractive displays.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry best practices.
