Discount Muffler Brake & A/C is a family-owned shop that's been serving Southern Nevada since 1997. We do things the right way — precision repairs, fair prices, and treating every customer like a neighbor. We're an Auto Value Care Center with dealer-level diagnostics, and we work on everything from daily drivers to fleet vehicles to Teslas.
The Role
We're looking for a seasoned Automotive Technician (7 years experience) who can also step up as an acting shop lead when the manager is out. That means you're not just turning wrenches — you can write service, talk to customers, and keep the shop running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair vehicles across all systems — brakes, A/C, exhaust, engine, electrical, steering/suspension
- Write service estimates and communicate repairs to customers
- Act as shop lead in the manager's absence
- Maintain quality and efficiency standards
- Mentor junior techs as needed
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of automotive repair experience (independent shop experience preferred)
- Ability to write service and communicate with customers professionally
- Leadership ability — comfortable running the floor when needed
- Must have your own tools
- ASE certifications preferred (we'll pay for additional certs)
- Valid driver's license
What We Offer
- $30–$41/hr depending on experience and certifications
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM — no nights, no weekends
- We pay for ASE and other certifications

Pay: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
