About the Role:
Discount Glass & Mirror Co. is looking for a Part-time Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our team in Lomita, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a hands-on, customer-focused business. 16-24 hours per work week. You must be able to work as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email
- Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately
- Respond to inquiries about glass, mirror, and related products and services
- Maintain organized front desk operations including filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Communicate customer needs and job details to technicians and shop staff
Requirements:
- Prior front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications (email, excel, word)
- *Quickbooks not necessary but a plus*
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
- Able to read a tape measure
