Retail Assistant Store Manager / Retail Store Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated, Retail Assistant Store Manager professional to join our DDM family in the Brunswick/Medina area!

• Job seekers with a background as a Retail Sales Associate (2 yrs experience), Assistant Retail Store Manager, Retail Shift Leader, and Retail Key Carriers would do well in these roles.

Discount Drug Mart is a second generation family owned and operated company located only in Ohio. Discount Drug Mart is a retail chain that offers the convenience of a pharmacy at every location. We currently operate 79 store locations across Ohio with growth planned yearly. There are many opportunities for employment.

Duties:
- Assist in daily operations and management of the store
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train store staff to ensure efficient and effective performance
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory management

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of stock management principles and practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with the local market trends and customer preferences
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory calculations
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling and payroll management
