We are seeking a Deli Counter Associate for our NEW Brimfield, OH store. The Deli Associate will accurately and efficiently operate scales, slicers, and wrappers, cleans work station, while providing excellent customer service.
Job Duties
- Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
- Acquire and share knowledge of Deli Department.
- Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
- Responsible for working as a team in order to complete daily tasks as needed, including: scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
- Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
- Attend required corporate meeting and training classes.
- Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Slice meats and cheeses, make sandwiches, salads, and follow established food production procedures.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, provide product information to help customers make decisions, and offer samples.
- Display & Stocking: Fill, maintain, and rotate products in deli and salad displays to ensure freshness and organization.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow proper food handling techniques and sanitation guidelines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate the deli slicer and other commercial food service equipment safely
Applicant must be at least 18 years old to work in the Deli Department. Previous deli or foodservice experience preferred, we will train.
Candidates must have the availability/ flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Must also be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
New store located at: State Route 43 in Brimfield, OH.
