Deli Associate [Store 83]

We are seeking a Deli Counter/Bakery Associate for our Medina, OH store. The Deli Associate will accurately and efficiently operate scales, slicers, and wrappers, cleans work station, while providing excellent customer service.

Applicant must be at least 18 years old to work in the Deli Department. Previous deli or foodservice experience preferred, we will train.

Candidates must have the availability/ flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Must also be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

• Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation and production of bakery items
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Package and label bakery products for display or sale
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli/bakery needs

• Experience:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and portioning
- Ability to follow sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
