What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Of Development position at Disciple Nations Alliance?
The Disciple Nations Alliance exists to equip followers of Jesus worldwide with a biblical worldview that transforms every area of life and empowers them to disciple the nations, starting with their families, vocations, and local communities.
For more than 25 years, DNA has trained pastors, ministry leaders, educators, and community leaders in nations worldwide to apply biblical truth to every sphere of life. Through in-person training, online resources, strategic partnerships, and global networks, we are helping the Church recover its mission to disciple nations.
We are seeking a Director of Development committed to this mission and who can help build the financial partnerships needed to expand this work worldwide.
The Opportunity
The Director of Development will lead and strengthen DNA's fundraising strategy, with primary responsibility for building and managing a disciplined donor development system that increases major gifts, foundation support, donor retention, and long-term ministry partnership.
Working closely with the President/CEO, the Director will:
- Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and ministry partners
- Identify and engage new major donor and foundation prospects
- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies
- Support donor communications and campaigns
- Help build a sustainable culture of philanthropy and partnership
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of an international ministry with a clear biblical vision and global impact.

- Is gifted in building authentic, trust-based relationships
- Communicates effectively with donors, ministry leaders, and stakeholders
