Assist the National Human Resources Director with management of the Human Resources staff and activities to maximize the strategic use of organizational resources. Guide and enforce the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. Manage employee recruitment, retention and retirement plans, programs and policies. Coordinate benefits administration and oversight of third party administrators of employee/retiree group benefits.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department
- Partner with organizational leaders to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
- Provide guidance, support and training to HR team, management and other staff when complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks related to employee relations and government compliance
- Oversee and maintain optimal function of the organization’s HRIS, ADP, including database management, network support, development, customization, maintenance and upgrades
- Oversee and supervise organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations
- Manage talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt and professional roles; collaborate with organizational leaders to understand skills and competencies required for open positions
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose elements of total rewards to attract and retain top talent
- Oversee and coordinate employee relations events including disciplinary meetings, separations and investigations
- Maintains compliance programs in accordance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Manage vendor partner agreements and benefit plan documents to ensure that plans are legally compliant and in accordance with plan documents
- Manage ballots and present recommendations for plan interpretations, appeals and loans while serving as Member/Secretary of the Benefit Plan Administration Committee (BPAC)
- Manage Business Associate Agreements (BAA) with vendors and serve as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Compliance Officer
- Assist with coordination and conduct of internal and external audits
- Maintain Human Resources credentials via continuing education of the HR body of knowledge, competencies, evolving trends and business acumen
- Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or related field)
- A minimum of five years of Human Resources management experience or combination thereof is required
- Current HR Certification by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) or equivalent required
- Advanced working knowledge of ADP
- Proficient in various HRIS software including talent, performance and compensation programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
