What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assessment Specialist position at Disability Planning Organization of Kansas, Inc.?
We continue to grow at DPOK and now will be working in Cowley County! We need to add another Assessment Specialist to our team! This position will help people and families by completing assessments for Intellectual and Developmental Disability(I/DD) Services. A positive attitude, customer service skills, computer skills, strong organizational skills, and a responsive and supportive mind-set are central to the position. Six months experience working in the I/DD field is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but experience working with people with developmental disabilities can be substituted at the rate of six months of experience for each semester. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes closing on Fridays at 12:30 and performance incentive pay.
