What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Assistant position at Disability Access Network?
My name is Kyle Murphy. I'm a 33 year-old male. I have severe mobility impairment due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy(DMD), consequently I need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). All tasks can easily be taught/trained. Willing to hire multiple people.
Despite my disease, I live a decently regular lifestyle.
4–5 hours per day shift: weekdays and weekends available (11 AM –3:00 PM preferred).
5-6 hours per night shift: weekdays and weekend shifts available (6 PM –11:30 PM -preferred).
Overnight shifts: weekend overnights available (preferably midnight –6 AM).
Weekday overnights Will be available temporarily soon
Paid through DHS Home Services Program
$19.50 per hour
30 hours a week to get Health insurance
- Transfer from bed or wheelchair (using an electric hoyer lift)
- Hygiene needs: toileting, showering, teeth brushing, dressing
- Administer medication
- Other duties as assigned
