DiSabatino Construction Company, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for an electrical foreman. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians engaged in construction, maintenance and repair of electric power, and lighting.

1. Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures, such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes, according to blueprints, schematic drawings, and sketches.

2. Creates, and updates schedules of work. Reviews schedule and backlog weekly. Schedule night work as needed.

3. Assigns workers to perform activities.

4. Initiates work each morning, checks assigned jobs, makes sure Job Safety Analysis, and Permits are in order, make sure they have the needed materials.

5. Supervises and coordinates activities of electricians engaged in construction, maintenance and repair of electric power, and lighting.

6. Directs, coordinates, and assists in performance of workers' activities.

7. Inspects wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes, quality assurance, and safety.

11. Conduct Tool Box Meetings.

12. Examines program, system, or facilities to determine installation, service, or repair needed.

13. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and work orders in order to direct workers activities.

14. Monitors operations, and inspects, tests, and measures completed work.

17. Requisitions materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts for work activities. Review electrical vidmars for miscellaneous stock materials. If materials are needed place an order to re-stock. Receive material and stage in shop.
17. Completes and maintains reports, such as time sheets, performance evaluations, job safety analysis, safety audits, test results etc.
18. Recommends measures, such as procedural changes, service manuals revisions, and equipment purchases, to improve work performance and minimize operating costs. 19. Patrols work area on a regular and frequent basis to observe worker’s behavior, and examines tools and equipment to detect unsafe conditions or violations of safety rules.

21. Recommends personnel actions, such as employment, performance evaluations, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures. 22. Confers with personnel, such as management, engineering, quality control, customers, to coordinate work activities and resolve problems. 23. Establishes or adjusts work methods and procedures using knowledge of capacities of machines, equipment, and personnel.

STRENGTH: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5 Years of experience as a supervisor preferably in a commercial setting
2. Licensed as a Journeyman Electrician by State of Delaware or greater
3. Proficient using computers, especially work planning software, including Excel.
4. Must pass a pre employment drug screen and background check
