Part-Time Tailor / Alterations Specialist
Dirty Laundry Dry Cleaners – Cumberland, RI
Dirty Laundry is looking for an experienced part-time Tailor / Alterations Specialist to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in quality work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable performing a variety of clothing alterations and repairs.
Responsibilities include:
- Hemming pants, dresses, skirts, sleeves, and other garments
- Taking garments in or letting them out
- Waist and length adjustments
- Zipper replacement and repair
- Button, seam, and minor garment repairs
- Basic alterations on men’s and women’s clothing
- Pinning and measuring customers for alterations when needed
- Completing work neatly and within promised timeframes
- Maintaining a clean and organized alteration/work area
Qualifications:
- Previous tailoring, sewing, or professional alterations experience required
- Strong sewing machine skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable and dependable
- Friendly and professional with customers
Schedule: Part-time; days and hours can be discussed based on availability.
Pay: Competitive and based on experience.
