We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hopper Bottom Truck Driverto join our team. This position involves hauling bulk materials using a hopper bottom trailer to agricultural, construction, or distribution sites. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable operating in rural, job-site, and plant environments.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer with hopper bottom trailer
- Haul and unload bulk materials such as grain, feed, fertilizer, sand, or aggregates
- Open and control hopper gates for efficient gravity unloading
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured and within legal weight limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel
- Follow all DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate hopper bottom equipment and air gate systems
- Experience with bulk hauling preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to climb ladders, open tarps, and work outdoors in varying conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hopper bottom, grain, or construction hauling experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or construction delivery sites
- Mechanical awareness and basic troubleshooting skills
