Duties
- Conduct general repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting across different areas of the facility
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform inspections to identify repair needs and prioritize work orders
- Assist with installation projects such as fixtures, shelving, or equipment setup
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures and using personal protective equipment
- Document work completed, including repairs made and parts used
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter (a device for measuring electrical resistance) is preferred but not required; training provided if needed
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks regularly
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in handyman services or general labor is a plus but not mandatory
