The Opportunity
We’re seeking enthusiastic and service-minded individuals to join us as Tellers. This is more than a transaction-based role – you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our members meet at our new branch, playing an important part in building connections and bringing our values to life in this community. We anticipate our new colleagues joining us in October, for training in our existing branches, before our new location opens in November.
What You’ll Do
· Greet members with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming branch environment
· Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
· Educate members on credit union products and services, helping them make informed financial decisions
· Support new branch initiatives and community outreach as we establish our presence in Southern Maine
· Ensure compliance with credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
· Prior cash-handling, customer service, or retail experience preferred
· Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
· Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
· Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt in a new and growing branch
