The Opportunity
We’re seeking qualified applicants for our open Deposit Operations Specialist position. This role supports our credit union and its members by processing ACH and wire transfers, completing deposit-related reports, and ensuring all operational activities follow established procedures and compliance standards. This role collaborates with multiple departments, assists staff and members with account-related needs, and helps resolve issues with accuracy and professionalism. The individual stepping into this role will also be the lead for our courtesy pay program.
What You’ll Do
· Process ACH and wire payments accurately and in accordance with compliance requirements
· Research and resolve member and account issues within assigned authority and escalate when needed
· Prepare and maintain required credit union and member records and reports
· Monitor our member privilege program, including member communications and account updates
· Provide support for digital banking channels including mobile deposit and bill pay, and to eBranch staff during high call volume periods
What We’re Looking For
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to problem-solve
· Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals across the credit union and external partners
· Familiarity with digital banking systems is a plus
· Prior experience in deposit operations or financial services preferred
