Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Programmer to join our team and assist in the design, development, testing, and support of desktop and web-based applications that interface with SQL Server databases. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
- Support both desktop and web-based applications
- Work with end users to understand basic requirements and provide support
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with guidance from senior team members
- Participate in ongoing improvements and enhancements to existing systems
- Document processes, code, and application functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 0–2 years of programming or relevant internship experience
- Basic knowledge of:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Visual Studio or similar development tools
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a development environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to database development or web application development through coursework or internships
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or cloud environments (a plus, not required)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
