Director of Growth San Francisco Lead the systems and strategy that deliver Gallup insights and fuel growth. As Gallup’s director of growth, you’ll set the technology strategy behind how we attract, acquire, engage and retain customers. You’ll modernize Gallup.com and a mix of CRM, e-commerce, martech and analytics platforms into a unified stack that equips marketing with the tools, data and insights they need to drive measurable growth. You’ll also guide a team that builds scalable systems to measure customer behavior, enable experimentation and connect technology investments to revenue outcomes. What You’ll Do Lead the modernization of Gallup’s growth technology ecosystem — CRM, e-commerce, marketing automation, BI and analytics Enable sales and marketing to test, measure and optimize customer acquisition and retention through integrated tools and analytics Oversee enterprise architecture decisions, ensuring systems fit together in a scalable, cost-effective way Lead the transformation of legacy systems into a modern, integrated growth stack Explore applications of AI across every layer of the growth stack Lead a team of over 30 engineers and systems experts and orchestrate work with key design and marketing partners Build a culture of collaboration, experimentation and learning that enhances our innovation as we invest more in technology What Makes You Stand Out Growth strategy expertise: You’ve built and executed technology strategies that directly enable customer acquisition, customer retention and increased revenue. Enterprise architecture vision: You understand how large-scale systems fit together and make smart build-versus-buy decisions that balance cost, scalability and value. Data-driven decision-making: You rely on analytics, performance metrics and experimentation to prioritize initiatives and demonstrate technology’s impact. Executive influence: You navigate senior-level conversations with clarity, conviction and poise. Cross-functional leadership: You’re a trusted partner to marketing and product leaders, aligning technology investments with business outcomes. What You Need Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, required At least five years of experience leading engineering or technology teams required Demonstrated success modernizing or scaling growth platforms required Hands-on technical experience with CRM, e-commerce, marketing automation and analytics/BI platforms required Experience migrating legacy or homegrown systems to cloud environments preferred A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s San Francisco office at least three days a week required About Gallup At Gallup, we change the world, one client at a time, through extraordinary analytics and advice on everything important facing humankind.
