Production Associate – Day & Night Shift

Direct Mail Solutions (DMS), a leading full-service mail and logistics company based in Richmond, VA, is looking for reliable and motivated Production Associate to join our team. Pay:
$13.00-$15.00/Hourly

Position Overview:
As a Production Associate, you'll play an important role in keeping our mail production process running efficiently and accurately. This full-time position is a great opportunity to learn the mail production process, gain valuable experience, and grow into new opportunities within DMS.

What You'll Do:

• Read and follow instructions provided on job jackets to ensure production work is completed accurately and according to specifications.
• Catch, sort, and tray mail as it comes down the conveyor belt, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the production process.
• Provide support and assistance to Lettershop Operators during your shift to help keep production moving smoothly.
• Follow all quality standards, company procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while contributing to the overall success of the production team.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Be flexible and available for overtime as needed to support production demands.

Qualifications:

• No previous production experience is required. This is an entry-level position, and DMS provides an opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
• You must be willing to learn, eager to succeed, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Strong attention to detail is important, as you'll be responsible for maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the production process.
• You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced production environment.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team is required.
• Being dependable and flexible with your work schedule is important, as overtime may be required based on production needs.

Preferred Skills:

1. Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or mail processing experience

2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

3. Positive attitude and willingness to learn

4. Strong team-player mentality and work ethic

Schedule:
Day Shift: 3 days per week, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Enjoy a 3-day work week with full-time hours!)

Night Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend with full-time hours!)
