A busy video production company is looking to hire a Podcast Technician/Production Associate. DirectLine Media, based in Branford, CT, works with businesses, non-profits, and other organizations creating video content that tells the story behind their brand and who they are. Their podcast services offer clients a one-stop-shop for filming, editing, and distribution of their podcast series.
Responsibilities
The job duties of this position will include recording, editing, and posting regular podcast series for multiple clients. Travel to Branford and other locations around Connecticut is required. Other responsibilities may include social media production, editing of other projects, and client relations. You will be trained to develop the proper skill set to succeed in this position.
Qualifications
This position is an entry-level position and is for an individual who understands the basic elements of video production, including camera operation, proper framing, color balance, proper audio mixing, and general lighting techniques. General editing skills using Adobe products, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects, are required. Knowledge of Black Magic DaVinci is a plus. What the candidate does not have in experience can be made up with a ferocious appetite to learn and an eagerness to take on new challenges.
