POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a professional position providing supervisory oversight for the Treatment Works 3.0 (TW 3.0) program under the Outpatient Services Division. TW 3.0 provides children’s therapy and High-Fidelity Wrap (HFW) services that are designed for children who have experienced trauma, including loss and grief, depression, anxiety, abuse histories and addictions. These services can be provided in office or in the community. TW 3.0 services can be for the youth or the family, and assists in managing mild to moderate behavioral or emotional needs which can stem from trauma, including school behavior difficulties, adoption related issues, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, abuse histories, and addictions. All TW 3.0 programming utilizes a solution-focused, family centered approach and evidenced based or research supported practices to assist children and families in problem solving skills, behavior strategies, and anger management skills, among other therapeutic interventions.

The Supervisor of Treatment Works 3.0 will play an integral role of support, coaching and guidance for a team of Intensive Case Managers (HFW-ICM) who will be serving children, adolescents, and families, with mental health needs. The Supervisor is assigned to oversee Intensive Case Managers serving youth and families with a mental health or co-occurring mental health & substance abuse concern, and is responsible for guiding the ICM’s in supporting the youth and family in treatment/recovery by providing children’s case management and HFW services. The Supervisor will be a subject matter expert on HFW and will ensure that case management and services focus on case management interventions, utilizing natural supports, community supports, and input and resources from other community partners or professional agencies. The Supervisor will ensure that HFW-ICM services adhere to the HFW model and HFW principles of: Family Voice and Choice, Culturally and Linguistically Competent, Individualized, Strengths-Based, Natural Supports, Community-Based, Team-Based, Collaboration and Integration, Persistence-Unconditional Care, and Outcome-Based. The Supervisor will ensure that ICM services emphasize individualized treatment planning that is strength based and built collaboratively with the youth and family and natural and community supports that care about and know the youth and family best. The Supervisor will ensure that ICM services occur in the community at a place convenient and comfortable for the family. This is a field position. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring an annual client facing client care number of 8,640 hours which reflects a minimum of 1,410 hours of client facing client care per HFW-ICM. Achieving the minimum required weekly, monthly and annual client facing client care hours is an essential function of this positon.

Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living Team Members must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation. Essential Team Members may be required to work in the field, be “on call depending on the needs of the individual being served.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or related area of study or a master’s degree in Social Work, or related area of study from an accredited college or university
  2. A minimum of two years of previous supervisory experience required.
  3. A minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk populations to include families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health, and emotionally disturbed children.
  4. Must become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound and become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach within 3 months of employment. Preference will be given to individuals who are currently certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach in high fidelity Wraparound.
  5. Previous child welfare experience is preferred.
