- Greet patients upon arrival.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate patient care and ensure timely follow-up on treatment.
- Process patient paperwork, including insurance claims and referrals.
- Educate patients as needed about procedures, treatments, and office policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
- Collect and post payments including credit card transactions and insurance payments.
- Monthly bill pay for practice as needed.
- Discuss treatment plans/finances with patient.
- Assisting in treatment plan presentations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner.
- Willing to effectively participate as a team member with the office personnel.
- Committed to the protection of confidential information, records and/or reports.
- Great organizational skills are a must.
- 2-5 years of experience preferred.
- Experience using computers, Eaglesoft practice management software a plus.
- Understanding of insurance/dental procedures and claims is desired.
- Strong telephone, communication and time management skills.
- Must be a people person with a great attitude and high attention to detail.
