We are looking to add qualified candidates to our team. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, be able to work in extreme weather conditions, and perform long physical hours.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barriers to guide vehicles and pedestrians safely around construction zones
- Direct traffic using clear hand signals or flagging tools, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to prevent accidents and manage traffic flow efficiently
- Monitor work zones continuously to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions and report them promptly
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Prior experience in Traffic Control and/or Flagging is preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and traffic participants
- Requirements:
