Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Implement individualized care plans and support goals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for individuals to thrive.
- Advocate for resident rights and promote their independence.
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of hospice care systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs.
- Experience working with people on the autism spectrum is advantageous.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screen .
