What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Person position at Direct Support Person (DSP)?
Looking for special needs direct support person. The candidate should be willing to become a direct support person for a 21 year old male, both at home and in the community.
The client is a non-verbal individual who experiences autism. He enjoys being outside and taking walks. He requires assistance completing many tasks.
Candidate would be a calm and caring person who offers support, encouragement, and transportation at times (driver's license and insurance required). The client is transitioning from school to adult programming.
Candidate would be someone to be employed by a local area agency and receive hands-on training and support while working to support the client.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
