We are seeking a Director (or VP) of Sales to lead our client’s high-performance sales organization, including Sales Architects, Account Executives, and Account Managers. This strategic leader will drive sales growth across verticals, improve pipeline velocity, and ensure alignment with our low-code/no-code consulting strengths. The ideal candidate excels at closing deals, leads technical and consultative sales teams, and is proficient with modern sales systems such as AI-powered tools.As the Director of Sales, you’ll be the strategic architect and tactical driver of our revenue engine. You will lead, grow, and optimize our sales function to drive rapid client acquisition and long-term growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think like a VP and hustle like a top rep—motivating teams, closing deals, and refining systems to scale.● Sales Leadership & Strategyo Own and evolve the company’s sales strategy, goals, and Go-To-Market execution.o Lead and inspire a cross-functional sales team, ensuring quota achievement and professional development.o Develop and refine pricing, proposals, and value propositions tailored to platform partners like QuickBase and Mendix.● Pipeline Management & Closingo Maintain strong oversight of sales pipeline activities across lead generation, qualification, and closing.o Forecast revenue, identify risks, and propose action plans to meet quarterly targets.o Coach team members on enterprise consultative selling and closing techniques.● Cross-functional Collaborationo Partner with marketing, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure alignment from lead through implementation.o Support pre-sales activities with technical stakeholders and enterprise clients.● Sales Enablement & Toolso Leverage advanced sales platforms (e.g., Orum, Apollo, HubSpot) to enhance outreach, tracking, and performance.o Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and scale sales operations.Key Must Have’s:· Degree is preferrable, not mandatory (if more years of experience Veilsun would still want to see them)· 7 /- Years of B2B consultative selling experience in a professional services or custom software or low-code tech environmentIdeally from a low code/no code organization.Or someone that has help grow sales a custom software firmCould also come from an ERP type organization.· They focus on construction, manufacturing, healthcare and finance industries.· 4 years in a sales leadership role managing SDRs, AEs, and/or solution consultants.· Demonstrated success in closing deals $100k in value with enterprise clients.· Some experience with AI powered sales engagement tools such as Orum or similar.· Must have some sort of CRM experience.· This is a Hands-on Director or VP roles (Title based on experience)o Help reps troubleshoot deals to closure.o Have a consultative sales background and approach with clientso Understand they will not sit in an ivory tower, but will be very active with the Reps both managing them, helping on deals, getting in front to clients as needed with the reps, finding some deals on their own, etc. Fully in the trenches as Veilsun is a smaller company. You wear lots of hats.o Sense of detail to what they do.o Be responsible to obtaining sales and also doing sales planning and developing growth strategies.o Bring sales experience to the table.o Recognize client’s pain points and come back with a creative solution to eliminate the pain points.o If you know how to do consultative sales, you can recognize where there are “opportunities” with the client even if they can’t articulate them.o Help coach the other reps.o Hold reps accountable.o Ensure quote packages and done correctly, accurately and addresses the clients' needs for a win-win.o Build customer relationships yet also ensure to hold the client to some overall responsibility.· Have come creativity in outbound cold calling, using tools to help cold calling and adjust the hunting process, as necessary.· Highly preferred - Formal Sales Training like Sandler, or other formal training.· Energetic personality but get stuff sold and accomplished!· Be able to work with various depts to achieve the success in the company.· Sense of taking ownership and seeing the projects / sales through with clients.· Travel: Yes, 15%, Events, Conferences, Clients, all within the USA. Estimate travel once a month.  Preferred Qualifications:● Deep experience selling digital transformation or IT consulting services.● Familiarity with agile delivery models and professional services project lifecycles.Company DescriptionGreat company to start and grow your career with, excellent growth opportunities

Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
