Job Description:

The Sales Representative is the principal point of contact between our client and its customers. This role is responsible for identifying new customer leads, pitching to prospective customers and closing net new accounts.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Prospect for potential clients through various lists, cold calling, and networking; enter into database.

Estimate service, repairs and production jobs; conduct job site surveys of potential production, repair and maintenance jobs.

Generate proposals for service in a timely manner.

Present, promote and sell services to prospective customers.

Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

Determine and define project scope and objectives.

Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

Track project costs in order to meet budget.

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Communicate with project team members to ensure efficient completion of project goals.


Key Must Have's

Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing sales experience – See notes below.

Completely comfortable with direct marketing / Cold calling for net new accounts.

Wanting to build a great book of business from scratch. 

Someone that wants to build a long-term career with good income from a good book of business.  (It is a residual business model, need someone who gets it.)

CRM & Project Management system – Terial – so long as they have other CRM experience this is easy to teach.

Must have strong MS Office skill set.

  • Construction industry related experience from HVAC, elevators/escalators companies,  Electrical, ‘High Service’ type industry, preferred.

Travel:  Yes, 25% CO area to prospective customers.

  • Bilingual – Spanish and English is a plus
