Our client is a premier provider of recreation and outdoor environment solutions, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes playground equipment, site amenities, shade structures, safety surfacing, water and splash pads, sports fields, and outdoor fitness systems.
They are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about representing innovative, high-quality products within an assigned and protected territory. This role requires a proactive hunter mentality—prospecting in the field to generate new business while also cultivating and expanding relationships with existing clients.
The Outside Sales Representative will deliver compelling presentations to both small and large groups, including Lunch & Learns, so strong communication and presentation skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex product offerings and managing longer sales
cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
Primary target markets include architects, builders, general contractors, parks and recreation departments, schools, churches, daycare centers, municipalities, fitness facilities, and related organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and overall performance objectives.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings within the designated territory to demonstrate the value and benefits of products and services to an established account base.
- Develop and deliver customized presentations to key decision-makers based on identified client needs and project requirements.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within both existing accounts and prospective clients.
- Clearly communicate and position the company’s value proposition in a competitive marketplace.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term client relationships, providing guidance and support throughout the full sales lifecycle.
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and market dynamics to effectively advise customers.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to develop creative solutions that address client needs and ensure seamless project execution and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, though not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience selling to schools, government entities (particularly parks and recreation departments), construction firms, and/or architects is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge/understanding of construction plans/drawings a plus
- Proven track record in both new business development and relationship-based account management.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently address both small and large groups.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

- Year 1 $80,000 20% Commissions
