Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Field Service / Measurement Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of our projects by performing final measurements that are used for ordering materials and submitting documentation to building departments and local municipalities. In addition to field measurements, this position is responsible for creating clear and accurate layout drawings of the home, including floor plans and site plans, to accompany and support all submitted measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct precise, final field measurements for window and door installations
• Ensure all measurements are accurate and clearly documented for purchasing and permitting purposes
• Create detailed layout drawings, including floor plans and site plans, to pair with field measurements
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, including project managers, purchasing, and installation crews
• Identify and report any site conditions or discrepancies that may impact installation
• Maintain organized records of all measurements and job details
• Coordinate with permitting department  and assist in ensuring compliance with local building requirements when needed
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with homeowners and job sites

Qualifications:

• Prior construction experience required
• Window and door industry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
