Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi‐weekly payroll for all employees
- Verify timecards, commissions, bonuses, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies
- Handle payroll‐related inquiries from employees
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee setup
- Coordinate with HR and management regarding payroll changes
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership as needed
- Support accounting with payroll‐related reconciliations
Requirements
- 1 year of payroll experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar)
- Basic understanding of labor laws and payroll compliance
- Proficient in Excel and data entry
- Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
