Role Description The Mortgage Loan Closer is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for coordinating and finalizing residential mortgage closings. Daily tasks include reviewing and preparing closing disclosures and loan documents, verifying accuracy and compliance with regulatory and lender requirements, and ensuring all conditions are satisfied before funding. The role involves communicating with loan officers, processors, title companies, escrow agents, and borrowers to resolve document issues and scheduling matters. The Mortgage Loan Closer will manage closing timelines, confirm wire instructions and funding details, and maintain detailed records within the company’s systems. Qualifications
- Experience in the mortgage industry, including familiarity with residential mortgage lending processes and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of loan documents, closing disclosures, and associated legal and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of mortgage lending workflows, from approval through closing and post-closing quality review.
- Hands-on experience with funding procedures, wire transfers, and coordination with escrow and title companies.
