Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography and a passion for delivering high-quality imaging services in a patient-centered environment.
This PRN position provides after-hours and weekend coverage and is perfect for a technologist seeking flexibility and additional income. We offer excellent pay based on coverage needs, making this a great opportunity to supplement your current schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Operate CT equipment safely and effectively while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Review and assess images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness of the imaging area.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
- State licensure.
- Proven experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
