Job Title: Machine Operator/Bindery
Location: Eastlake, OH
Job Description:
We are looking for a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and personable individual to join our team as a Machine Operator and Mail Sorter. Experience with mailing equipment and or bindery equipment, folders, cutters etc, with on-the-job training provided, ideal for someone eager to grow in the direct mail industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate inkjet and inserting machines, including setting up computer systems and configuring machine settings for various job requirements.
- Maintain quality standards by monitoring output and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare mail for the post office, including sorting, bundling, and labeling according to postal regulations.
- Operate a tow motor (forklift) for material handling and loading.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machines, with training provided.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn machine software and operational systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bindery and /or mailshop equipment experience and tow motor experience.
