Direct Marketing Solutions is a multi-channel marketing company specializing in direct mail & digital marketing. Join our production team as an Account Coordinator to support our Client Services team.
Position Summary
The Account Coordinator (AC) assists Account Managers (AM) with managing client marketing portfolios and collaborating with internal Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) departments to meet necessary deadlines. The AC communicates regularly with the AMs to ensure client needs are being met.
Essential Functions
- Enters project specifications and parameters into the job ticket database.
- Prepares deliverables for internal and client distribution.
- Proofs works-in-progress.
- Prepares work orders for the Creative and Pre-Press teams.
- Routes projects through the creative process to meet deadlines.
- Prepares tracking and inventory reports.
- Collaborates with Account Managers to realize campaigns that meet the wants and needs of DMS clients.
- Helps develop campaign communications in coordination with the project timeline.
- Understands the clients' quality expectations and ensures overall quality control on all projects.
- Gains an understanding of clients' business needs and generates new ideas to assist Account Managers in improving client performance.
- Develops and maintains strategic relationships with other departments.
- Keeps current on industry dynamics and applicable regulations to optimize campaign success and foster broad industry expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years' relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
