Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Production / Bindery Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on position operating print finishing equipment, checking completed work for quality, and preparing jobs for mailing.
Previous bindery or print-production experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing accurate, quality work. Hourly rate is based on experience.
Duties
- Operate bindery and finishing equipment, including folders, cutters, coaters, booklet makers, and binding equipment
- Perform cutting, folding, collating, binding, and other finishing work
- Follow job tickets and production instructions
- Check completed work for quality and accuracy
- Prepare completed orders for mailing
- Perform basic equipment adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
- Keep your work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous bindery, printing, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with equipment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to safely push, pull, lift, and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and transportation
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
