About the Role
. We are looking for an experienced, safety-conscious CDL Driver to operate our state-of-the-art road survey technology vehicles across the United States. These custom-equipped vehicles carry advanced sensors, cameras, and data-collection systems used by transportation agencies nationwide.
This role is unique — you are not hauling freight. You are the operator of a mobile technology platform, ensuring precise data collection as you drive designated survey routes. If you have 10 years behind the wheel, a tech-curious mindset, and want to trade in unpredictable long-haul schedules for a more structured, daylight-only work life, we want to hear from you
The Schedule: Work-Life Balance Built In
· Daylight Hours Only — No night driving. Survey routes are conducted during daylight for safety and data quality.
· 3 Weeks on the Road / 1 Week Home — Predictable rotation so you can plan your personal life with confidence.
· Hotel Accommodation Fully Covered — All hotel stays are arranged and paid for during your time away from home.
· No Continuous Long-Haul Grinding — Survey legs are measured, purposeful, and professionally scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate a CDL road survey technology vehicle safely and professionally across assigned US routes
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections including onboard survey equipment checks
· Monitor and assist with basic operation of onboard data collection technology (cameras, LiDAR, sensors)
· Navigate survey routes using GPS and route management software; adapt to road closures or conditions
· Communicate with the Fleet Supervisor and field team to confirm survey progress and any vehicle issues
· Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, and survey documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
· Report technical issues with survey equipment to the designated technology support contact
· Ensure the vehicle interior and equipment are kept clean and secure at all times
· Comply with all federal and state transportation regulations including hours-of-service rules
· Represent the company professionally when working in public road environments

· Must pass drug and alcohol screening
· High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred / Bonus Skills
