Trust & Estate Attorney

Direct Counsel represents a leading national law firm seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Attorney to join its Taxation & Wealth Planning practice in West Palm Beach.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a well-rounded background in estate planning, tax planning, probate, and trust and estate administration to become a trusted adviser to individuals and families with sophisticated planning needs.
The Role
- Develop and implement customized estate and wealth transfer plans.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient estate and wealth transfer strategies.
- Prepare and file estate and gift tax returns.
- Handle trust and estate administration matters.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individuals and families.
- Assist with family office structures and sophisticated planning strategies, including QSBS planning.
- Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across a national Taxation & Wealth Planning platform.
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of trust and estate experience.
- Experience with estate planning, tax planning, probate, and trust/estate administration.
- J.D. and active Florida Bar admission required.
- LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required.
- Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent judgment and ability to manage complex matters independently.
- Strong client-service skills and ability to understand diverse family and financial objectives.
- Family office experience is a plus.
