 Direct Counsel is representing a national law firm seeking a dynamic and driven Entertainment Transactions Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level attorney (3–6 years of experience) with a passion for entertainment and intellectual property to work on high-level corporate transactions, content creation, and rights acquisitions.

What You'll Do

• Draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated agreements in music and other entertainment IP.

• Support major catalog sales, acquisitions, and IP transactions.

• Advise on production matters related to the creation and distribution of film, television, and digital content.

• Work alongside partners, associates, and consultants on multifaceted entertainment and financing deals.

• Strategically support high-profile talent, studios, investors, and rights holders.

Who You Are

• An attorney with 2-3 years of corporate transactional experience, ideally within the entertainment or IP field.

• Experienced in catalog sales/acquisitions (preferred).

• A strong communicator with excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple deals at once.

• Collaborative, curious, and committed to continual learning and growth.

• Someone who sees both the big picture and the fine print—able to think strategically while minding the details.

• Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction where you intend to work.
