Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its Minneapolis office. This role is ideal for attorneys with 2–3 years of experience, as well as recent graduates with a strong interest in real estate law. The position offers exposure to sophisticated real estate finance transactions, working alongside experienced attorneys on high-impact deals for institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent lenders in commercial real estate finance and development transactions

Assist with structuring, drafting, and negotiating loan and financing documents

Conduct legal research and support complex real estate transactions

Collaborate with senior attorneys on large-scale real estate matters
Qualifications:

JD and active Minnesota Bar admission required

2–3 years of real estate finance or transactional experience preferred

Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills

Large law firm experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $210,000–$217,500 (Minnesota)
