Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking an experienced Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Charleston. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle sophisticated real estate transactions and work with institutional clients in a collaborative, high-caliber environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.

Draft, negotiate, and review documents related to leasing, land use, zoning, and development projects.

Handle commercial real estate lending matters on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.

Advise clients on legal issues affecting real estate investments, development, and operations.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution.
Requirements:

2- 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law.

Demonstrated experience with real estate transactions, lending, leasing, development, and land use/zoning.

Excellent academic credentials, strong legal writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
