Real Estate Associate Attorney (2-3yrs)- Baltimore

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking an experienced Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Charleston. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle sophisticated real estate transactions and work with institutional clients in a collaborative, high-caliber environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.

• Draft, negotiate, and review documents related to leasing, land use, zoning, and development projects.

• Handle commercial real estate lending matters on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.

• Advise clients on legal issues affecting real estate investments, development, and operations.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Requirements:

• 2- 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law.

• Demonstrated experience with real estate transactions, lending, leasing, development, and land use/zoning.

• Excellent academic credentials, strong legal writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.

• Professionalism, strong judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
