Personal Injury Attorney
Direct Counsel is partnering with a growing and well-established law firm to identify a Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding legal team in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for a driven attorney who enjoys handling cases from intake through trial and wants to play a key role in the firm’s continued growth and regional expansion.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in pre-suit case management and personal injury litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client advocacy while maintaining a trial-ready approach.
Compensation
This position offers a base salary of $110,000 , depending on experience, along with bonus incentives and a competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a broad range of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and related claims.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases, with a strong focus on pre-suit operations.
- Oversee all phases of litigation, including discovery, pre-trial motions, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Guide and advise clients throughout the entire legal process, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses for case evaluations, reports, affidavits, and testimony preparation.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
- Negotiate favorable settlements while strategically balancing risk and maintaining trial readiness for every case.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active and good-standing member of the Ohio Bar; Kentucky Bar admission is a plus.
- 1 years of personal injury experience.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and consistently achieve favorable outcomes.
