Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a leading law firm’s Litigation practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling complex commercial litigation matters and the ability to independently manage cases through all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including overseeing discovery and preparing for and taking depositions.

• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft substantive briefs and other written advocacy.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior attorneys while serving in a lead role on case teams.

Requirements:

• Significant experience handling complex commercial litigation matters.

• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research skills.

• Strong academic credentials and a proven record of success in complex litigation.

• Judicial clerkship experience and training at a peer law firm are preferred.

Location: New York, NY.

Compensation: $310,000–$390,000 base salary, depending on qualifications and experience, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.
