Direct Counsel represents a leading national law firm seeking a motivated Litigation & Construction Law Associate to join its growing Miami practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney with construction experience to handle sophisticated disputes, work directly with clients, and take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative and growing team.
The Role
- Manage Florida construction litigation and complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys on sophisticated construction and commercial matters.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience with Florida construction litigation and complex commercial disputes.
- Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution.
- Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Law firm experience preferred.
- J.D. and active Florida Bar admission required.
